AED

Knowing how to use an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) saves lives. When an individual suffers a cardiac arrest the best chance for the individual to survive is by receiving prompt CPR AND defibrillation. An AED is made so that the average person on the street, both young and old, could operate it. As a trained AED user, you will know when and how to use an AED so that it gives a person a better chance to live.In the American Heart Association Heartsaver(R) AED class, you will be shown how to use an AED.
